View full recipe at www.manjulaskitchen.com INGREDIENTS: Make 12 Kachori 1 cup all purpose flour(mada or plain flour) 1/2 CUP COLD WATER 2 tablespoons oil 1/4 TEASPOON SALT 1/4 cup yellow moong dal 1 teaspoon coarsely grinds funnel seed 1 teaspoon coarsely grinds coriander seed 1 teaspoon red chilly flakes 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder 1/2 teaspoon mango powder Pinch of asafetida (hing) 1/2 teaspoon salt or adjust to taste 1 tablespoon oil 2 tablespoons water Oil to deep fry You can purchase most of these ingredients at the local Indian grocers.

I was looking for another type of kachori recipe, one with the puri or a hard type of puri with yogurt, chick peas and tamerand sauce on top. It has a really nice sweet and sour taste. Hello? Aunty, I am from the UK can you let me know what volume cups you are using. In the UK we use 250ml, the US use 240ml and in India they use 200ml. Thx

Moong dal and yellow? split pea two different lentil.
