Many people go camping and they just settle for hamburgers and hotdogs to eat. I am completely against that, in fact, I believe that when you are camping you are vacationing and when you are vacationing you should eat like kings. The first thing I do when I get out into the great outdoors is set up a nice kitchen. Now you may think, “What kind of kitchen?” The kitchen I set up consists of a stove top, a grill and a griddle. Then to complete all the surfaces of cooking I will bring a few dutch oven so that I can slow cook nice meals and not be bogged down by having to stay around watching the food. Many of my lazy friends say, “Mike I don’t want to spend so much time cooking and I don’t have room for all the equipment to make these meals.” My friends have no idea how easy it is. There is such a simple solution to these easy problems. The meals I make in the woods take almost no time to prepare and are delicious and easy to cook. You can even prepare them before you leave and just finish them when you get outdoors. Secondly, the equipment necessary to get this cooking done is small and can be fit into a small box if packed correctly. I believe that people are looking for excuses for why they can’t instead of learning how to do. With a little knowledge of recipes and some fun cooking surfaces one can turn a bland campsite into a culinary camp. Everyone knows that where there is great food there is usually great company too! So go out in the woods and use all that free time to impress y our friends and family with delicious and inexpensive meals so you can have the ultimate camp cooking experience!
